Jan Nehlin

Jan Nehlin is a highly accomplished scientist with extensive expertise in immunology, molecular genetics, and cancer biology. Since April 2018, Jan has served as a Senior Scientist and Associate Professor at Amager og Hvidovre Hospital, focusing on biological aging research, frailty intervention studies, and the influence of diet and medication on aging. Concurrently, Jan is a Guest Scientist at OUH Odense Universitetshospital and an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark since 2005, where responsibilities include research management and education. Prior experience includes significant roles as Principal Investigator at Novo Nordisk and Research Associate Professor at Rigshospitalet, as well as research positions at renowned institutions such as the National Institute on Aging and Berkeley Lab. Jan Nehlin holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree from Uppsala University and a Licenciate from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
