Ola Selnes

Ola Selnes is a licensed medical student currently working as a forvagt in skadestuen at Sygehus Lillebælt since March 2023, while also serving as a surgical assistant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, focusing on knee and hip replacement surgeries. Ola holds the position of academic tutor at the University of Southern Denmark, guiding first-year medical students in academic research. Ola has been an undergraduate research assistant in the surgical department at OUH Odense Universitetshospital since November 2021, concentrating on capsule endoscopy and colorectal cancer screening. Additionally, Ola has experience as an instructor for gastrointestinal biochemistry and nutritional science at FADL, and has held multiple roles as a healthcare assistant across various departments at Odense University Hospital and Sykehuset Innlandet. Prior educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and ongoing pursuit of a Master's degree in Medicine from the University of Southern Denmark, complemented by earlier education at NTNU and Gjøvik High School.
