Aparna Patankar

Aparna Patankar has a long and varied work experience. Aparna began their career in 2007 as an Intern at Amnesty International, followed by a Business Strategy Intern role at ITSI Gilbane Company. In 2008, they returned to ITSI Gilbane Company in the same role. In 2010, they were a Guatemala Fellow at Pencils of Promise, and in 2011 they were a Senior Program Associate at Asia Society. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Senior Associate Intern at Strategy&, part of the PwC network (formerly Booz & Company). Aparna then progressed to Manager at Strategy& from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Blue Shield of California as Director of Digital Strategy & Planning, Senior Manager of Digital Strategy & Planning, and Senior Manager of Member Experience Strategy & Planning. Most recently, in 2022, they became Senior Director of Business Development at Oula and Director of Strategic Integrations at Tia.

Aparna Patankar received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia Business School and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cultural Anthropology & Politics from New York University. Aparna also attended The College Preparatory School.
