Maija Karukka

Maija Karukka is a Senior Lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since August 2023, bringing extensive financial and operational management experience. Previously, Maija held the position of Head of Finance at Kuljetus J Haverinen Oy from September 2021 to August 2023, and prior to that, Maija served as Head of Operations Business Unit and Finance and Administration Manager at Netplaza Oy from October 2017 to September 2021. Career progression includes roles such as Finance Manager at Oulun Työterveys Oy and Controller at PKC Group Plc, along with significant experience as a Business Controller in various organizations including Suomen Terveystalo Oy and Polar Electro Oy. Maija holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Oulu, completed in 2002.
