Katie van der Veen

Katie van der Veen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie is currently working at OurFamilyWizard as an Office Management & People Operations Coordinator since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sezzle as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator | People Operations from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before their role at Sezzle, Katie worked at Mintahoe Catering & Events in different positions. Katie was a Van Dusen Mansion Sales Consultant from May 2019 to March 2021, a Minnesota Boat Club Sales Consultant from April 2017 to May 2019, and a Nicollet Island Pavilion Project Coordinator from May 2016 to April 2017.

Katie van der Veen has a strong educational background in event management and journalism. Katie attended Iowa State University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Event Management. During their time at Iowa State University, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Prior to their college education, they attended Wayzata High School from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Katie has obtained additional certifications in their field. In December 2014, they received training as a Crowd Manager from the International Association of Venue Managers. In October 2014, they also received a Certificate of Excellence from Cvent.
