Arushi Gupta

Arushi Gupta is a Senior Cell Development Engineer at Our Next Energy (ONE), with a strong background in cell materials engineering acquired during tenure at Tesla where roles included Staff and Senior Cell Materials Engineer. At Tesla, Arushi led the research, development, qualification, and characterization of polymeric cell materials for the 4680 form factor, achieving solutions for manufacturing and performance challenges. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Scientist at Zakuro, Inc., focusing on composite cathodes for solid-state batteries, and significant research during a PhD at the University of Michigan, where Arushi developed optimized interfaces for hybrid electrolyte systems in Li metal batteries. Educational credentials include a PhD and MS in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BTech in Polymer Science and Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University.
