Mari Karsikas

Mari Karsikas is an experienced professional with a strong background in data science and product development. Currently serving as Director and Head of Product Science at ŌURA since December 2019, Mari also provides expertise as a Data Science consultant for Tekonivelsairaala Coxa Oy. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Solita and Researcher at both the University of Oulu and the Centre for Health and Technology. Mari has experience in project management through the Individualized Connected Health (INDICO) project. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Technology in Intelligent Systems with a focus on Biosignal Processing and a Master of Science in Physics, both obtained from the University of Oulu.
