Miguel Christophy

Miguel Christophy is an experienced engineering professional, currently serving as the Vice President of Hardware Engineering at ŌURA since October 2024. Previously, Miguel held key leadership roles at Humane™, including VP of Hardware and Head of Design Engineering, overseeing product development in design, antenna, and reliability engineering. As Technical Advisor for Spark Grills, Miguel contributed to innovative outdoor cooking solutions. Miguel founded Sage Lab, a hardware design and engineering studio for startups, and led industrial design at Glydways for an autonomous transit vehicle. Earlier roles at Apple involved designing critical features for the iPhone, while previous positions included product design engineering at Palm and mechanical design at Banyan Energy. Miguel holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
