Eli has more than 15 years of experience in software development, architecture, and management. During his career, Eli has successfully led numerous projects both in startups and enterprise companies spanning across different areas, such as databases, client/server, cloud computing, distributed systems, Dev-Ops, and machine learning. Prior to joining OurCrowd, Eli worked as a software architect and manager leading development on an innovative real time web-based system for a SPECT/CT scanner through FDA clearance, helping millions of patients around the world. Prior to that, Eli was a VP of Engineering at WhoDoYou.com and led the architecture and development of a distributed data mining and processing system using machine learning and cloud computing technologies. Before WhoDoYou, Eli was a software engineer at Answers.com. Eli has a B.S. in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University and has published two conference papers in the area of routing protocols.
