William Tang

William Tang has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to present. William is currently a Founding Engineer at Treehouse since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LinkedIn from 2015 to 2022, starting as a Software Engineer and later progressing to the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. In their role as Staff Software Engineer, they led the Hiring Intelligence Recommendations team, providing insights and recommendations to streamline the hiring process. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at LinkedIn in 2014. Before joining LinkedIn, they had internships at Yahoo and Lexity in 2013. Their earliest work experience was as an Intern at the Laboratory of Precision Metrology and Instrumentation in National Taiwan University in 2010, where they conducted optical measurement research.

William Tang graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended Saratoga High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization" certification from Coursera in July 2021, and the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" certification in April 2019, also from Coursera.
