Francine Reyes-Vega is an accomplished mechanical engineer and advocate for diversity in engineering, currently serving as Engineering Conference Director and Engineering Admissions Director for Out for Undergrad since January 2021, focusing on attracting LGBTQ+ students to ambitious careers. As Co-Lead of the LGBTQ+ and Allies Affinity Group at the Society of Women Engineers, Francine promotes initiatives for the LGBTQ+ community and fosters diversity and inclusion within the organization. Francine has experience in various engineering roles, including Mechanical Engineer II at Logistic Services International, where responsibilities included training military branches and managing the full lifecycle of product development. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Francine has held leadership positions within the Society of Women Engineers at the university level, significantly influencing the organization's growth and outreach.
