Andrew Lowenthal

Andrew Lowenthal is the current Executive Director at Out in Tech. Andrew has extensive experience in management and administration, having served as the Chief Operating Officer, New & Charter Schools at the NYC Department of Education from December 2011 to January 2016. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Human Capital Development at Cornell University from November 2010 to June 2011.

Before their work in higher education, Lowenthal worked as a Program Manager at the Partnership for Public Service from November 2009 to November 2010. Andrew began their career in public service as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State in May 2002, working in various capacities in the Bureau of Consular Affairs until Fall 2009.

Andrew Lowenthal received a Master of Science in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Political Science from The George Washington University.
