Ashley Hlebinsky serves as the Founding Executive Director of the Firearms Research Center at the University of Wyoming College of Law since September 2023. Hlebinsky has extensive experience in the firearms and history sectors, holding positions as Acting Curator at the Los Angeles Police Museum and President of The Gun Code, LLC. Additionally, Hlebinsky contributes as Curator Emerita and Senior Firearms Scholar at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and as a TV Personality and Producer for "Gun Stories with Joe Mantegna" on Outdoor Channel. Hlebinsky is also a Freelance Writer for Recoil Magazine, a Brand Ambassador for The Bourbon Review, and a Guest Curator for the C.M. Russell Museum and Complex, specifically for the Matthew Browning Collection. Previous consultancy roles include the Adirondack Experience and the Winchester Mystery House, LLC. Hlebinsky holds a Master of Arts in American History and Museum Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of Delaware.
