Peter J. Epstein

Mr. Epstein is a retired Boston attorney who specialized in cable and telecommunications law, primarily representing municipalities and nonprofit organizations. He was also involved, first as its legal counsel, then as President, in the establishment of a Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors. He is a graduate of George Washington University and Suffolk University Law School.

Now a Provincetown resident, he is currently a member of the Equality Fund Advisory Committee at the Boston Foundation and the OCHS board. Mr. Epstein has a long history in nonprofit board service, previously serving on the Board of Regents of the Point Foundation, the largest scholarship-granting nonprofit for LGBTQ students. He also served on the Board of Directors of GLAD: Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders in Boston as Development Committee Chair and Clerk of the Board; on the Board of Visitors of Fenway Community Health Center in Boston; and as former longtime Chairman of the Brookline Public Library Board of Trustees, leading efforts to renovate the historic main library building in Brookline Village.
