Neil Scherfer has over 25 years of experience in the media sales industry. Neil started their career at AK Media as an Account Executive, where they generated over $12.1MM in out-of-home advertising sales and maintained a 27%+ annual sales growth rate. Neil then joined Outdoor Systems as a Senior Account Executive, focusing on expanding locally-based businesses through integrated marketing campaigns. At Viacom, they served as a Local Sales Manager, overseeing a sales team and managing sales, pricing, and packaging of inventory for the South Florida market. Neil later joined CBS Corporation as a General Sales Manager, responsible for achieving sales budgets and working with a team of Account Executives on strategic advertising initiatives. In their most recent role at OUTFRONT Media(formerly CBS Outdoor), Neil served as a National Account Manager, developing new business with local, regional, and national clients by promoting the benefits of out-of-home advertising. Neil strategically utilized all company assets and managed a portfolio of clients, with a focus on expanding the existing customer base.
Neil Scherfer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Media Management from the University of Arizona. Neil also has a communication background from Syracuse University. In addition to their formal education, Neil has earned the following certifications: Richardson Advanced Sales Negotiations from Richardson Sales Performance in June 2023, Richardson Sales Negotiations from Richardson Sales Performance in March 2022, and Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk in November 2020.
