Matti Aksela

Matti Aksela is an experienced leader in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation, currently serving as the Head of AI and Digital Platforms at Outokumpu since August 2023, where responsibility includes overseeing AI, data science, digital innovation, and data strategy initiatives. Aksela is also the founder of Trust In Sight, a company dedicated to developing trustworthy AI solutions across various industries. Previous roles include Vice President at WithSecure, where Aksela led Managed Services and Professional Services, and a significant tenure at F-Secure Corporation, overseeing Managed Services, Artificial Intelligence initiatives, and leading R&D efforts. Aksela has extensive experience in technology and data analytics, having held key positions at companies such as Verto Analytics and Comptel. Aksela holds a Doctor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and Mathematics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
