Joshua Scheck

Joshua Scheck has a diverse range of work experience. Joshua started in 2016 as a Swimming Coach at Husky Masters. In 2016-2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at SMAHRT, assisting with a content analysis study. From 2017-2018, they were an Undergraduate Research Intern focusing on a research study on factors influencing college students' vaccination decisions. In 2018, Joshua worked as a Student Helper, performing tasks such as database migration and analysis of next-generation sequencing results. From 2018-2019, they served as a Research Associate at Seattle Children's, developing a full-stack web application and coordinating with the Account Provisioning team. From 2019-2021, Joshua worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator I at Seattle Children's, developing an image acquisition and processing pipeline and leading multiple development teams in various projects. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Outpace Bio, designing and developing a full-stack web application and deploying serverless clusters for protein design.

Joshua Scheck began their education in 2014 at the University of Washington, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Cell, Developmental, and Molecular Biology. Joshua also simultaneously pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Minor in Chemistry. Joshua successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2018.

Following their undergraduate studies, Joshua enrolled at Seattle University in 2021 to obtain a Computer Science Fundamentals Certificate. Joshua completed the program in 2022. Building upon their newfound knowledge, they continued their education at Seattle University from 2022 to 2024, pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science.
