Barbu Hărșan has extensive experience in the field of digital art and animation. Barbu is currently working as a Senior Video Artist at Outplay Entertainment Ltd since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Socialpoint from 2019 to 2022 as a Video Artist and Character Designer, where they were responsible for creating high-quality video content for the Dragon City game's marketing campaigns and designing characters for the Monster Legends game.

Before joining Socialpoint, Barbu worked as a freelance digital artist, illustrator, concept artist, 2D animator, and comic book artist from April 2019 to December 2019. During this time, they undertook various projects such as concept art, character design, illustration, comics, storyboarding, and motion graphics.

Barbu also served as an Art Director at deFilm from October 2018 to April 2019, where they developed the visual style of a short animated movie, designed main and secondary characters, and created environments and assets.

Prior to that, Barbu worked as a Lead Artist at 2Fat2Fly from May 2017 to December 2018, where they created all the art for the tabletop game "Moonshiners of the Apocalypse" and ensured the overall cohesive design of the project.

Barbu's experience also includes working as a Lead Artist and Art Director at Reea from August 2015 to September 2018, where they co-led a team of 8 artists and worked on various projects, including animated music videos, video games, and comics. Barbu supervised visual development and game design for mobile, PC, and web-based games.

Barbu has also worked as a Lead Artist and Art Director at Deveo Media Animation & Illustration Studio from January 2015 to August 2015, leading a professional team and working on 2D animation, comics, and illustration projects.

Before that, Barbu worked at Reea from August 2012 to October 2014 as a Visual Dev. Artist and Lead Artist, where they developed a pitch for a full feature 2D animated movie, managed a small team of artists and animators, and created characters and environments for projects.

Barbu's earlier work experience includes roles as a Concept Artist, 2D Animator, and Motion Graphic Designer at Happy Day Games from February 2011 to October 2011, as well as a Freelance Digital Artist from 2008 to 2011.

Barbu Hărșan attended the West University of Timisoara from 2000 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
