Andrew Brooks

Andrew Brooks has an extensive work experience history. Andrew began their career as a Research Intern at Global Financial Integrity in 2008, followed by an internship at World Perspectives, Inc. Andrew then worked as an Intern at OCO Consulting before joining the U.S. Department of Energy as an intern in the Office of the CFO. In 2009, Brooks interned at ShoreBank International.

Brooks then transitioned to a role as a Senior Research Assistant and later as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board from 2010 to 2013. Andrew then became a Data Scientist at Elder Research, Inc. from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Brooks joined Capital One as a Principal Data Scientist and stayed with the company until 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Data Science Mentor at Springboard.

Currently, Brooks is employed at Outreach, where they began as a Senior Data Scientist - NLP in 2018. Andrew then progressed to hold the role of Staff Applied Scientist - NLP and is currently working as a Senior Staff Applied Scientist - NLP.

Andrew Brooks completed their Bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Studies at American University from 2006 to 2010. Andrew later pursued further studies and obtained their Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgetown University, where they attended between 2011 and 2014.
