Jan Srutek

Jan Srutek has extensive work experience in the field of product design. Jan is currently the Director of Product Design at Outreach, a leading Sales Execution Platform. In this role, they manage all customer interactions and utilizes machine learning to optimize sales strategies. Jan joined Outreach in April 2021.

Prior to their current position, Jan worked as the Director of Product Design at productboard from April 2020 to April 2021. Jan was responsible for overseeing the design of the company's product.

In September 2020, Jan worked as a Design Advisor for an undisclosed company. During this time, they provided design expertise and advice.

Before that, Jan served as the Head of Product Design at Mews Systems in February 2020.

From 2015 to January 2020, Jan worked as the Lead Product Designer - Mobile Apps at Trainline. Jan was responsible for designing mobile applications.

In 2014, Jan curated the program at WebExpo, which is Central Europe's largest tech conference.

From December 2013 to June 2015, Jan worked as the UX Team Lead at Tesco Digital Product. Jan led a team of 7 Interaction & UI designers and was involved in creating a responsive e-commerce platform.

In 2012, Jan worked as a Senior Interaction Designer at Foolproof. Jan lead interaction design and information architecture projects for leading brands such as Sony PlayStation and Rank Interactive.

From 2009 to 2012, Jan worked as a User Experience Consultant at Flow Interactive.

In 2009, Jan worked as a Freelance Information Architect. Jan provided services such as user research, conceptual design, information architecture, and digital strategy for clients including Moving Brands agency.

Jan Srutek's education history includes an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics from UCL, which was completed from 2008 to 2009. Jan also obtained a BSc in Information and Communication Management from Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz (FH) between 2004 and 2007. In 2013, Jan Srutek completed a short course in Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which is a part of the University of the Arts London.

In addition to their formal education, Jan Srutek has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they received the Professional Scrum Master I Certificate from Scrum.org, and in 2016, they obtained a certificate from Silicon Valley Product Group for completing the course "How To Create Tech Products Customers Love."
