Jiaxin Li

Product Designer at Outreach

Jiaxin Li has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. In 2014, at Tsinghua University, they worked as a UX Designer, researching how citizens in Beijing acquire public service information and translating the findings into actionable design recommendations. In 2016, at Cornell University, Jiaxin worked as a UX/UI Designer on the Student LifeMaps project, creating a web-based application to assist human coaches in uncovering college students' time management habits. They also worked as a UX/UI Designer at Lutron Electronics, designing the mobile version of Lutron's lighting control system, Quantum Vue.

In 2018, Jiaxin joined the United Nations as a Design Consultant, where they wireframed, redesigned, and launched the ISAR website. They also designed logos, brochures, and flyers for a UNCTAD conference attended by people from over 50 countries.

From 2017 to 2020, Jiaxin worked at Gain Life as a UX/UI Designer, creating high-fidelity designs for a worker's comp web app and responsive websites for Gain Life products. They also served as a UX/UI Design Intern, collaborating with other interns to create mobile applications and define design language.

In 2020, Jiaxin joined Marigold Health as a UI/UX Designer, completely redesigning the existing mobile app and conducting user research. They also standardized the design system and defined design principles to increase design efficiency.

In 2021, at Grove Collaborative, Jiaxin worked as a Product Designer, leading web and mobile app design projects. They optimized designs for the Small Order Shipping project, conducted competitor and user research, and informed navigation and homepage product strategy.

Most recently, Jiaxin joined Outreach in 2022 as a Product Designer, focusing on the creation and closure of more pipeline and working on Reporting & Analytics.

Jiaxin Li obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering (ECE) from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in the period between 2011 and 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Science (HCI) at Cornell University from 2015 to 2017.
