Karleen Adams

Karleen Adams has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Karleen started their career as a Peer Advisor in Career Services at Western Washington University in 2012 and later became a Student Coordinator in the same department. Karleen also worked as an Academic Student Advisor in Academic Services before transitioning into a Human Resources Intern role. Following their internship, Karleen joined Starbucks as a Barista for a year before joining the New River Valley Association of REALTORS® as a Membership/MLS Coordinator. Karleen then moved on to Excella as an Office Coordinator and later joined Filson as a Human Resources Coordinator. At Filson, they eventually became a Human Resources Generalist before leaving the company. Currently, Karleen is employed at Outreach as a People Operations Specialist, with a previous role as a Senior People Operations Specialist.

Karleen Adams obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Western Washington University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Psychology. Karleen attended the university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Karleen also holds certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in June 2019, and as a Certified ScrumMaster, which they earned in October 2017.
