Mengyue Liang

Mengyue Liang has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Mengyue started as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida in 2016 and worked there until 2017. In 2019, they joined the University of Southern California as a Research Assistant, where they worked on projects related to event duration extraction and event relation extraction. During their time there, they gained experience in processing data, training models, and achieving performance improvements using different embeddings. In 2019, Mengyue also started working at Outreach as a Data Science Intern, and later transitioned to the role of a Data Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Data Scientist at Outreach.

Mengyue Liang attained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Measuring and Controlling Technologies and Instruments from Tianjin University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, Mengyue pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
