Christoph is currently working as a Machine Learning Data Engineer at Outrider, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Bosch as a Senior Computer Vision Software Engineer from August 2020 to March 2023, and as a Computer Vision Software Engineer from November 2018 to July 2020. Before joining Bosch, they completed their Master's thesis in cooperation with Robert Bosch GmbH and the Institute for Man-Machine Interaction of RWTH Aachen University, focusing on bridging the gap between simulation and reality for interior automotive sensing using generative adversarial networks. Christoph also had an internship at Bosch, where they designed a real-time object detection system for car interiors. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Imaging and Computer Vision from November 2016 to September 2017, and at the Institute for Man-Machine Interaction from April 2015 to October 2016.
Christoph Schorn began their education in 2004 at Gymnasium am Wirteltor, where they obtained their Abitur in an unspecified field of study in 2013. Christoph then went on to attend RWTH Aachen University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering from 2013 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field from RWTH Aachen University between 2016 and 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Christoph Schorn has obtained several certifications. In June 2016, they received a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera. Christoph also holds two certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., namely Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner (obtained in October 2019) and Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master (obtained in August 2019).
