Derek Leslie

Derek Leslie has held various positions in the technology industry since 2007. In that time, they have worked as a National Marketing & Sales Director for an Independent Insurance Brokerage, a Platform Engineer and Product Manager for Hosting.com, a Product Engineering Manager for Savvis/CenturyLink Cloud, a Senior Product Manager for SolidFire, Inc., a Principal Product Manager for NetApp, a Maps Infrastructure Lead and Sr. Product Manager for Uber's Advanced Technologies Group (ATG), a Chief Technology Officer for La Storia Productions, and a Product Lead for Outrider. Derek has been responsible for overseeing cloud infrastructure, managing product initiatives, developing batch processing and scheduling engines, and leading product teams.

Derek Leslie attended Avon Grove High School and Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Business Managment degree with a focus in Business Management, Finance & Accounting, and Spanish. Derek also attended Wilmington University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business/Managerial Economics. In 2017, they obtained two Executive Education certifications from Harvard Business School Executive Education: Leadership and Strategy.
