Jakub Hulas

Jakub Hulas has had a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and mechanical design. Starting in 2016, they completed two summer internships as a Mechanical Design Intern at Team TIME, where they used CAD software to create parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Jakub also utilized PDM for the organization of parts and assemblies. In 2019, Jakub joined Inovo Robotics as a Robotics Engineer, working on the dynamics and control of a modular collaborative robot arm using the ROS framework and Orocos KDL libraries. Jakub developed new software functionalities using ROS and C++. In 2021, they moved on to Agile Robots AG as a Robotics Control Engineer, and later became the Robotics Technical Lead. Lastly, in 2023, Jakub joined Outrider as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jakub Hulas obtained their International Baccalaureate degree from Struer Statsgymnasium between the years 2011 and 2014. Jakub then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Leeds, where they completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2018 to 2019.
