Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, where responsibilities have included developing hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and associated educational devices. Prior experiences include working as an electronics contractor with Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on electronics design for educational devices, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier roles also include developing control systems for the forestry industry at Grindcom and a comprehensive educational foundation with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
