Anne Cooke PhD is a distinguished professional in the field of neuroscience and healthcare management, currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development at Outsourced Events Ltd since May 2023. Previously, as Chief Executive of the British Neuroscience Association from 2015 to 2023, Cooke managed the largest UK-based neuroscience organisation, overseeing a wide array of activities, including HR, financial planning, membership engagement, and public advocacy. Prior roles include Association Manager and Secretary at the British Anaesthetic and Respiratory Equipment Manufacturers Association, Research Development Associate at the University of Bristol, and Graduate and Post-doctoral researcher at the Medical Research Council. Educated at the University of Cambridge with a focus on neuroscience and neurophysiology, Cooke possesses a strong background in biomedical science and a proven track record in event management and organizational leadership.
