Miguel Almeida has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Miguel started their career in 2000 as an IT Manager at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Miguel then worked as a Researcher at INESC-ID and later as a Business Analyst and Lecturer at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. In 2006, they joined Teleca Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to IPAM as a Lecturer in 2008. Miguel then worked at YDreams, where they held various positions, including Project Manager and Director of Operations, overseeing teams and managing overall operations processes. In 2014, Miguel joined OutSystems as an Engagement Manager, and over the years, they progressed through various roles, including Head of Delivery - APAC, Director, Customer Success - APAC, Senior Director, Customer Success - Southeast Asia & India, and Senior Director, Customer Success - APAC. Currently, Miguel serves as the Vice President of Customer Success at OutSystems.
Miguel Almeida completed the Advanced Management Program for Executives at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2013. In 2006, they obtained a Post-Graduation degree in Computer Engineering from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer & Information Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2002. Additionally, Miguel obtained certifications in Understanding Video Games, Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence, An Introduction to Marketing, and Gamification from Coursera in 2014.
