Pedro Emanuel Sousa

Pedro Emanuel Sousa has work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2014, they worked as an intern at Bluetrend Technologies. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Software Developer at Cosmedesk, where they focused on software development. In 2019, they became a Tech Lead at Instituto Pedro Nunes, responsible for managing a team of developers and handling project development and support. In 2021, they joined OutSystems as a Software Engineer and gradually progressed to Senior Software Engineer and currently holds the position of Team Lead Software Engineer. Pedro also worked as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering - University of Coimbra starting in 2022.

Pedro Emanuel Sousa has a Master's degree in Intelligent Systems from Universidade de Coimbra, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Licentiate degree in Informatics Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2016. Pedro Emanuel also completed their secondary education in Ciências e Tecnologias at Escola Secundária Infanta Dona Maria from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Pedro has obtained certifications in Customer Service: Problem Solving and Troubleshooting from LinkedIn and AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) from AWS Training and Certification, which they obtained in January 2022.
