Ricardo Castro

Ricardo Castro has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles in the software engineering field. Ricardo currently serves as a Lead Software Engineer at OutSystems, starting in September 2021. Before that, they worked at FARFETCH, where they held multiple positions, including Engineering Lead from September 2020 to March 2021, Senior Software Engineer from February 2017 to September 2020, and Software Developer from September 2015 to February 2017. Prior to FARFETCH, they worked as a Software Engineer at Vortal Connecting Business from November 2013 to September 2015, and as a Programmer at BIGMOON INTERACTIVE STUDIOS for a short period from February 2013 to May 2013. Ricardo also gained experience as a Programmer at RISI Recursos Ideias Soluções Informáticas from June 2011 to January 2013, and at Inforcenter from January 2005 to March 2009.

Ricardo Castro holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade Portucalense (UPT) since 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Licenciatura in Informática from the same institution in 2011 as well. In 2016, Ricardo also obtained a certification in "M101N: MongoDB for .NET Developers" from MongoDB, Inc.
