Lawrence Schuessler Msc

Lawrence Schuessler MSc has a diverse background in outdoor education and mindfulness. Lawrence has held various roles such as Course Director, Trainer, and Instructor at Outward Bound USA and Program Supervisor at NOLS. Lawrence has also been involved in teaching mindfulness and wilderness guiding at Inward Bound Mindfulness Education. Lawrence has experience in instructional roles at Stanford University School of Medicine, Chadwick School, The Athenian School, and Westminster College. Additionally, they have served as a Course Director and Instructor at Prescott College and as an OEO Instructor/Logistician at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences.

Lawrence Schuessler completed their Bachelor of Arts in Adventure Education/Experiential Education from Prescott College in 2005. In 2018, they earned a Master of Science degree in Outdoor Education Sustainable Leadership from Gaia University International. Lawrence also holds certifications including Wilderness First Responder & CPR from NOLS in 2001 and AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructor from the American Mountain Guides Association in 2013. Recently, they pursued a Mindfulness Teacher certification from Inward Bound Mindfulness Education in 2022, and they are currently enrolled in a Nature Dharma program focused on Vipassana Meditation at Nature Dharma Training, expected to complete in 2025.
