James Pape

James Pape has extensive work experience in the education sector. James is currently serving as the Principal of Outwood Academy Hemsworth since 2024. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Principal at Oasis Community Learning from 2015 to 2022, where they also served as Principal of Oasis Academy Don Valley. Before joining Oasis Community Learning, Pape worked at George Pindar School as Deputy Headteacher from 2010 to 2015. James also held various roles at George Pindar Community Sports College, including Associate Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher - Director of Specialism, and Curriculum Leader - Physical Education from 2006 to 2010.

James Pape obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Science from Teesside University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. James went on to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Teacher of Physical Education at De Montfort University from 2001 to 2002.
