Amanda Stanton

Amanda Stanton currently serves as the Director of Corporate & Community Engagement at Ovarian Cancer Canada, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda was the Executive Director at the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka from June 2022 to February 2023. Amanda's extensive experience at Parkinson Canada spanned over fourteen years, during which time roles included Director of Public Affairs and Regional Partnerships, Director of Events & Partnerships, Manager of Events & Partnerships, Events & Partnerships Associate, Regional SuperWalk Coordinator, and Community Development Coordinator. Earlier in Amanda's career, a position was held as Development Officer for Special Events & Donor Relations at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation from September 2007 to September 2008. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Guelph, an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Humber College, and additional education from Western University.
