Gonzalo Becerra

Gonzalo Becerra has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Gonzalo currently works at Microsoft as a Cloud Solution Architect, specializing in Data & AI, as well as Power Platform + OpenAI advocacy. Prior to that, they worked at Overactive as a SharePoint Online Backend Software Designer. Gonzalo also has a long history of working at EY, where they held various roles such as SharePoint Engineering Lead, Technical Lead, and Infrastructure Engineer. Before EY, they worked at Phillip Morris International as a Microsoft Specialist, focusing on SharePoint architecture. Gonzalo also has experience as an IT Consultant at Dialogo Publicidad and as a Microsoft Specialist at Tenaris and Petrobras Energia. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Developer & Administrator at Cofasa - Drogueria and as the Head of Systems at Red Farmacias Laprida. Gonzalo began their career as a Supervisor at Control & Security, where they gained experience in server installation, network maintenance, and video production.

Gonzalo Becerra has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 2004, they attended ITCollege and obtained a Microsoft Certified System Engineer degree. In 2006, they attended TSM - Backup and earned a degree in Managing TSM. The following year, they attended Citrix Metaframe and became a certified Citrix Administrator, as well as Vmware to administer and implement Vmware GSX-ESX for virtualization. In 2008, Gonzalo attended Computer Associates and acquired degrees in Unicenter® Service Desk: Implementation (UR395) and Unicenter® Service Desk: Administration (UR386). That same year, they also completed a Master Framework program at Tenaris University, focusing on Microsoft framework and COM+. In 2009, they obtained a Clarity degree from Computer Associates and underwent training at Bs Training Center.

In 2010, Gonzalo attended Exo Training Center and received certifications in Maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Database, Administration and Troubleshooting MOSS 2007 from Microsoft, and IIS 7.5 Administration and Troubleshooting Advance. In 2011, they attended Exo Training Center once again, and also PeopleCert Group to obtain an ITIL V3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management.

In 2012, Gonzalo attended Exo Training Center and became certified in SharePoint 2010 Configuration from Microsoft. In 2013, they attended SharePoint 2013 Administration from Microsoft.

Additionally, Gonzalo has obtained various certifications outside of traditional education. These include a MCSE: SharePoint certification from Microsoft in 2014, an instructor recognition for reaching 10 students from Learn on Demand Systems in 2021, and multiple certifications from Pluralsight, including AgilePM Project Management, Implementing DevOps in the Real World, DevOps Big Picture, and Azure Certification Path. Gonzalo also completed a Python & Terraform Local Training from Exo Training Center in 2019 and various Office 365 - SharePoint Online Certifications from Microsoft in the same year. Gonzalo has continued to enhance their skills and knowledge by obtaining additional certifications in recent years, such as Cómo liderar equipos de alto potencial from LinkedIn in 2023 and Microsoft Global Hackathon 2022 from Microsoft in 2022. Gonzalo has also completed Leadership Fundamentals from an unspecified institution in 2014 and a Portuguese language program from Petrobras Energia in 2008.
