Michael Lisa

Michael Lisa is an experienced data analyst and engineer with a strong background in data analysis, energy efficiency, and engineering design. Currently serving as a Data Analyst I at OverDrive since July 2022, Michael developed an automated reporting tool that aids libraries in optimizing eBook and audiobook purchasing decisions using SQL and R for analysis and visualization. Prior to this role, Michael worked as an Associate Engineer at EME Consulting Engineering Group, where efforts included analyzing performance data for ventilators in NYC schools and energy efficiency models for prominent buildings. Michael's experience also encompasses a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Niowave, where significant contributions were made to cryogenic refrigeration systems and material testing procedures. Earlier career experience includes an internship at Diamond Power focused on data analysis for power plant cleaning systems. Michael holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
