Walter Kirkland

Walter Kirkland has over 25 years of experience in engineering and programming roles. Currently serving as a JD Edwards Configurator Developer at Overhead Door Corporation since March 1998, Kirkland specializes in writing pricing, part, and calculation rules for manufacturing sectional garage doors based on engineering drawings and marketing documentation. Prior experience includes a position as a Programmer at Kirchman Corporation, where bank software programs were developed and maintained in COBOL, and as an Application Engineer at Atlas Roll-lite Door Corporation, focusing on engineering documentation and customer collaboration for special application garage doors. Walter Kirkland holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a Design Option from the University of Central Florida, earned between 1980 and 1987.
