Stefan Thoss

Stefan Thoss is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in data engineering and management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the Data Platform at Overjet, Stefan leads a team focused on building multi-model real-time data pipelines and establishing robust monitoring and incident response processes. Previously, at Upstart, Stefan managed a team of Data Engineers while transforming data processes to support a scalable infrastructure and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Experience at Mercedes-Benz included designing data platforms and leading cloud migration efforts. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Data-driven Decision Analytics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
