Overland AI builds intelligent, uncrewed ground systems for defense and national security. Our autonomy stack, OverDrive, is defining the state-of-the-art for perception, planning, and control of uncrewed vehicles, enabling them to traverse and operate in any terrain, regardless of roads, in any condition. OverDrive was purpose-built for the warfighter. Through our work with DARPA and the U.S. Army, we are developing the intelligent capabilities necessary to power modern ground operations, now and for decades to come.  

The company has been awarded eight figures of OTAs and other contracts across multiple services and DoD customers. We have raised over $10M in funding, led by Point72 Ventures, a top multi-billion dollar AUM defense tech investor. 

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to run day-to-day front office operations at our facility in South Seattle. This position will independently perform office and building operations under general supervision and play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and safe work environment. 

  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks of front office operations. Primary emergency contact for the facility. 
  • Manage building access; maintain a visitor’s log, check in visitors, and escort visitors/vendors/contractors as needed. 
  • Maintain inventory of office and kitchen, including but not limited to office supplies, shipping and packaging material, and snacks/beverages.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. On occasion, perform courier services between Overland AI facilities. 
  • Enforce facilities’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships including catering services, shipping and delivery services, custodial services, and leasing management. 
  • Coordinate external contractor visits and maintenance schedules.
  • Quickly report and remediate building issues. 
  • Maintain and operate office equipment including multifunction printers, shredding services, conference room AV, and TVs. Light phone support as needed. 
  • Support the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team.
  • Provide administrative support and perform other duties as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Office Manager or clerical administrator.
  • Ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

 

  • Proficiency with the use of computers, Microsoft Office 365 suite (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and procurement software/order forms. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity amid a fast-moving, rapidly growing business. 
  • Ability to respond to building emergencies. Reliable transportation is a must. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all internal departments and external stakeholders.  
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. regularly.
