Tomasz Kawka

Tomasz Kawka has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and telecommunications. Tomasz is currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Esri since May 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Overland, Pacific, & Cutler, LLC (OPC) starting from March 2004. Tomasz worked as a System Administrator from March 2004 to January 2013, followed by a role as a Senior System Administrator from January 2013 to March 2016. From March 2016 to September 2018, they served as an IT Manager, and eventually, they became the Director of Information Technology from September 2018. Before joining OPC, Tomasz worked at Casio Service Center as a Service Engineer from November 2000 to October 2003 and as a Systems Administrator Assistant from March 2001 to October 2003. Tomasz initially started their career with Telekomunikacja Polska as a Telecommunication Engineer from October 1998 to May 2000.

Tomasz Kawka obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired several certifications in various fields. These include certifications in Email Fraud Defense (EFD) Email Authentication, Proofpoint Protection Server Administration, Proofpoint Technical Training, and Protection Server Security. Tomasz has also completed training programs in ArcGIS Pro, project management, and Microsoft Project. The most recent certifications and training programs were completed in 2022 and 2020, respectively.
