Jacob Wiechmann

Lead IT Support Specialist at Rent.

Jacob Wiechmann's work experience includes roles in various companies.

From October 2021 to present, they have been the HOA President at Villages at East Main Community Association, Inc., where they lead the Board of Directors in maintaining community standards and approving modification requests.

From 2018 to present, they have also worked at Rent. Initially, they served as a Lead IT Support Specialist, providing end user support for the corporate office and field employees. Jacob was also involved in the hardware refresh project for field employees.

Prior to that, Jacob worked as an IT End User Support Analyst at Tennessee Valley Authority from November 2017 to April 2018.

In 2017, they had multiple roles. Jacob served as a Field Operator at Insight Global, where they were responsible for equipment maintenance and data collection. Jacob also worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at Office Depot.

From November 2016 to January 2017, Jacob worked as a Desktop Support Analyst I at Mountain States Health Alliance, where they supported multiple platforms and implemented windows SCCM.

From August 2014 to November 2016, they worked at Geek Squad as a Double Covert Agent and a Counter Intelligence Agent. These roles involved providing technical support and performing repairs for clients.

Lastly, from October 2007 to August 2010, Jacob worked as an Inventory Specialist at Best Buy.

Jacob Wiechmann completed their high school education at Science Hill High School from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a General Education Development (GED) degree. During this time, their field of study was CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician. In addition to their formal education, Jacob Wiechmann also acquired additional certifications. Jacob received the Google Professional Collaboration Engineer for Workspace certification from Coursera in January 2020 and the CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in October 2017.
