Chadd Evans, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Overlay Capital since February 2022. Prior to this role, Chadd was the CEO & Founding Partner of Altera Investments from November 2017 to December 2021, a firm specializing in alternative asset management across private equity, real estate, and impact investing. Chadd has extensive experience in commercial real estate, having been a Principal at Field Equity and a Senior VP Investments & Principal at Ackerman & Co., where oversight was provided for an $800 million portfolio. Chadd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from The University of Georgia, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
