Valeria Martinez-Kaigi, Ph.D., M.S. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Valeria is currently serving as the Chief of Health Psychology at Override Health since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Psychologist, Captain in the US Army from June 2022 onwards. Valeria Martinez-Kaigi, Ph.D., M.S. completed their education in a sequential manner. Valeria began their academic journey at The University of New Mexico, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology between 2001 and 2005. Valeria then pursued further education and enrolled at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Here, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Motor Behavior from the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences, attending from 2009 to 2011. Continuing their academic pursuits, Valeria Martinez-Kaigi joined the University of North Texas, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine within the Department of Psychology. This doctoral program lasted from 2012 to 2018.
