David B.

David B. serves as the Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, a position held since April 2023, within the Office of Foreign Policy. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior National Security Advisor for MENA and Asia at USAID from July 2018 to April 2023, as well as various leadership roles focused on the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt. David's background also includes working as an Economic Advisor and a Multilateral Diplomacy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, alongside roles with the American Red Cross and internships in various government and policy organizations. David B. holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, History, and International Studies from Iowa State University, complemented by study abroad at the University of Valencia.
