Geremy Birchard

Geremy Birchard is an experienced finance and investment professional with a strong focus on impact investments and microfinance. Currently serving as Program Manager for the African Small Business Catalyst at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Birchard is instrumental in designing programs that support small and medium enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Birchard held various leadership roles at Symbiotics, including Project Manager and President of Symbiotics USA, where responsibilities included raising significant investment capital, developing innovative financial products, and launching impact funds focused on sub-Saharan Africa. A diverse background includes consulting roles, project management at FINCA International, and expertise in capital markets and financial planning, marked by successful initiatives that significantly increased investment capital for microfinance projects. Birchard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
