Michelle Czarniak

Michelle Czarniak is DFC’s Deputy Chief of Staff. In this position, she is a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, offering guidance on policy matters and overseeing the daily operation of the agency.

Previously, Czarniak was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where she conducted due diligence for private equity firms and worked with clients on organizational design and large-scale transformations. She has spent twelve years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve, serving abroad in Japan, Korea, and Bahrain and supporting missions across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Czarniak is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School.
