Sarah Mitwalli has extensive experience in political risk insurance and economic policy, currently serving as Director of Political Risk Insurance Monitoring at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation since June 2019, where previous roles included Associate Director and Specialist. Prior to this, Sarah held the position of Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and has significant experience with Global Communities as Program Manager and Program Analyst in Development Finance. Early career roles included Economic Researcher at Haver Analytics and consulting positions with OECD, Positive Planet, and UNICEF. Academically, Sarah earned a Master's degree in International Economic Policy from Columbia University's SIPA, supplemented by a visiting research scholarship at the London School of Economics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Studies, and Economics from the University of South Florida.
