Ranee Jayamaha is the current Director at Overseas Realty. Prior to this position, they served as the Director at the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies, and before that, they were self-employed. From 2013 onwards, they served as Overseas Realty Plc and Mireka Capital Land (pvt). From April 2011 to April 2015, they were the Chairman at Hatton National Bank PLC where they were responsible for the bank's credit, risk management, remuneration, and nomination committees. Jayamaha has also served as the Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from April 2004 to May 2009.
Ranee Jayamaha has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Monetary Economics from the University of Bradford and an Honorary Doctorate -Doctor of the University of Stirling (2012) in MSc in Economics (1976) from the University of Stirling.
