Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith has a diverse background in legal advocacy and content management within international law and human rights organizations. Currently serving as Acting Deputy Vice President of the Content Team at Oversight Board Administration, Andrew has previously held significant roles at ARTICLE 19, including Head of UN Advocacy, Senior Legal Officer, and Legal Officer. Additionally, Andrew contributed as a consultant Legal Officer and was awarded the Arthur C. Helton Fellowship by the American Society of International Law for work at ARTICLE 19 East Africa. Education includes an LL.M. with a Certificate of Specialization in International Law from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge.
