Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith is an experienced professional in the outdoor education and environmental science fields, currently working as an Arborist at Overstory since July 2024. Prior to this, Tommy served as a Middle School & Teen Mentor at the Boys & Girls Club and held the position of Outdoor Educator at Kanuga Camps & Conferences, where responsibilities included teaching science and adventure classes to middle school students. Tommy also guided hiking and backpacking trips for The Wildland Trekking Company, collaborated on ecological assessments with the Southwest Conservation Corps, and worked in various roles in GIS and remote sensing. Tommy holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Environmental Science, both from Clark University.
